Tried this place out on day 3 of being opened. They’re working through some growing pains, but that’s to be expected! Don’t go somewhere the first week and expect perfection. That being said, the food & drinks were amazing! I foresee this being my new spot!

Finally got to try this place out tonight and I’m so excited to have great sushi east of Raleigh! We tried the rainbow and spider rolls so we could compare staples with other area sushi restaurants and they were spot on. The salmon nigiri was buttery and delicious. We also got an appetizer of crab wontons and one of our party got the King Pho which she said was excellent. Thursday night is 30% off bottles of sake and they have a good selection of bottles ranging from about $20 to $50. Highly recommend trying them out!

This place had an incredible experience, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! My favorite drink now is the Lychee Saketini and Kyoto Rise. I’ve been searching for a lychee flavor cocktail for a long time, and I’m so glad I found it here. They also have a wide variety of food options to choose from, which is great for those who want to try something different.

I’m a harsh critic for food and U Shogun delivered. I had the gyoza and edamame for an app and the shaking beef for the entree. Also tried an assortment of sushi. Service was attentive and had great suggestions. Would recommend this!

Truly the perfect mix of tradition and modern taste. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the pad thai was delicious, and the cocktails were colorful and fun. I also loved that they had so many vegan and dietary-friendly options, it really makes the menu approachable for everyone. The vibe is welcoming and stylish, and the sake selection is top tier. This is going to be one of our new go-tos for sushi nights. Highly recommend making a reservation once they open!
